Become the Key Account Manager at this parallel importer of medicines and be responsible for the full sales and service process, including the annual sales target for assigned key accounts. Take the lead in this role and enter into dialogues with customers, build long lasting relationships, sell products, and obtain market information regarding market trends and developments. Focus mainly on your target groups which would consist of hospitals, pharmacies and wholesalers. 

Tasks and responsibilities

Your main responsibility as Key Account Manager would be sales management. As well as also being responsible for...

  • the execution of the Dutch tactical sales plan and the annual sales target
  • the development and execution of the tactical sales plan for every specific account
  • administrating and monitoring all sales activities
  • using market insights to create business development plans for a specific account
  • managing tender accounts to grow the business and onboard new customers
  • building strong relationships with customers while also identifying potential new customers
  • exploring new markets in close collaboration with internal departments
  • informing the production department and other relevant developments regarding incoming stock

You would also be responsible for making client, market, and competition analysis. Initiate the communication and networking activities and organise advisory boards.

What you have to offer

Are you a sales professional with...

  • a minimum HBO education level or equivalent
  • fluency in Dutch and English
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in sales / pharmaceutical industry
  • knowledge of hospitals, wholesalers, pharmacies is preferable
  • proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
