Brand Manager Hematology – Netherlands
Job Purpose:
As Brand Manager, you will lead the commercialization of our oncology portfolio at the national level. You are responsible for developing and executing the brand strategy, marketing plan, and tactical mix to ensure strong market performance and sustainable growth. This role reports directly to the Business Unit Head Oncology, Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Leadership

Take full ownership of the assigned brand and act as its internal and external ambassador.

Lead a cross-functional Brand Team (including field and office-based colleagues), providing clear vision, direction, and fostering a winning mindset throughout the organization.

Act as the strategic leader for the brand with key stakeholders and customers.
Customer & Market Insights

Continuously gather and synthesize customer insights through field visits, research reports, and internal feedback loops.

Translate both qualitative and quantitative data into actionable brand strategies.

Be the go-to expert on your product, its competitors, and the wider oncology market.
Brand Planning

Develop and execute robust strategic and operational brand plans in line with market dynamics and customer needs.

Identify growth opportunities and ensure a strong financial foundation for your plans.

Collaborate cross-functionally to align initiatives with the broader business strategy.
Execution & Operational Excellence

Deliver impactful campaigns and promotional materials in line with internal guidelines, compliance standards, and global frameworks.

Manage the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget effectively in collaboration with Finance and the BU Head.

Ensure excellence in campaign execution, monitoring performance, and adjusting as needed.
Field Force Engagement

Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless implementation of marketing initiatives.

Share the strategic rationale behind campaigns and incorporate field insights into materials and messaging.

Build a strong feedback loop with field teams to continuously improve effectiveness.
Performance Management

Drive brand performance using tools such as communication cells, performance dashboards, and workshops.

Track progress against KPIs and take corrective actions when needed to maximize brand potential.

Maintain high standards in business performance, risk management, and opportunity capture.
Forecasting & Supply

Lead accurate demand forecasting through the Core Commercial Cycle.

Adjust supply planning in response to market shifts and intelligence.
External Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including HCPs, pharmacists, medical associations, and scientific experts.

Gather feedback on marketing activities and continuously refine customer engagement strategies.
Why You?
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing or product management role.
-
Experience in oncology or hematology.
-
Successful track record in launching products.
-
Fluent in both English and Dutch.
Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in brand planning and operational execution.

Proven use of multi-channel marketing, including successful digital campaigns.

5–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, sales, or medical affairs.

Comfortable working in a matrix environment and leading cross-functional collaboration.

Skilled in engaging with key opinion leaders and understanding stakeholder needs.
