Smelt heeft gekozen voor Healfie In onze zoektocht naar hoe kunnen we een essentiële bijdrage leveren aan de veerkracht, mentale gezondheid en persoonlijke groei van de medewerkers, stuitten wij op het Healfie platform.   Het platform biedt bij uitstek de gelegenheid om in alle anonimiteit, Smelt ontvangt geen (voortgangs)rapportages van medewerkers via het platform, dus in alle anonimiteit en naar persoonlijke behoefte aan de slag te gaan om fitter te worden.   Daarbij komt ook dat het geen verplichting is maar een aanbod. Hoe profiteren onze gedetacheerden, interim professionals en medewerkers van Healfie  Iedereen die verbonden is aan Smelt, hetzij via een opdracht bij een van de life sciences organisaties, hetzij via een loondienstverband, is welkom om zich aan te melden op het platform. Cross-border behaviour has been a hot topic lately. What exactly should be understood as transgressive behaviour remains a difficult question. Where exactly does that boundary lie? Is `you look good today` a sincere compliment or is there a different meaning? There is no clear-cut definition for the concept, also - or perhaps precisely - because subjective elements seem to be involved alongside objective factors. So, what is a compliment for one person, can cause a very unpleasant feeling for another. Smelt wants to draw extra attention to the payrollers, employees on secondment and independent interim professionals. To what extent do they feel safe to discuss transgressive behaviour and their experiences? Because this group is extra vulnerable since there is no permanent employment, it is essential to make this subject open for discussion and remove any uncertainty about it. As of today, a new protocol has entered the Smelt workforce and we have also thoroughly reviewed the processes. Maak kennis met onze candidate manager Oliver Gell! De van origine Britse Oliver Gell is in maart 2021 in ons team begonnen. Oliver begon zijn loopbaan als recruiter in de sales en accountmanagement branche. Binnen het Smelt team heeft Oliver de rol van candidate manager, dit houdt in dat hij zich dagelijks bezighoudt met het matchen van talent aan onze opdrachtgevers. In zijn vrije tijd eet Oliver graag een Indiase curry of een typisch Engelse ‘Sunday Roast’ en is hij samen met zijn echtgenote bezig met het starten van een eigen bierbrouwerij: Moose Brewing. Hoe ben je in het recruitmentvak terechtgekomen? Ik ben nu iets meer dan 4 jaar werkzaam als recruiter. Zo ben ik tien jaar geleden begonnen met het helpen van internationale kandidaten bij het starten van hun carrière te starten of voort te zetten. Dit heeft ertoe geleid dat ik vooral voor in-house projecten bezig ben geweest voor een cliënt dat gespecialiseerd is in medical devices. Waar krijg je energie van? Mijn werk! Toen ik bij Smelt kwam werken, was het een totaal andere sector voor mij, aangezien ik geen Life Sciences-achtergrond heb, maar er wel altijd een passie voor heb gehad.
