Inhoud van de functie
Key Responsibilities :
· Ensure that all payroll required activities are completed on time leading to a timely payroll payment – based on the payroll calendar agreed with the external vendor, managing the flow of information coming in and out, monitoring the vendor performance in line with the service level agreements.
· Partner closely with Human Resources, Benefits, external services providers, Finance, Employment Tax vendors and other Payroll Managers to streamline and develop processes that ensure efficient local payroll processes.
· Manage relationships with vendors responsible for payroll, monitoring SLAs and performance and providing feedback on areas for improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
· HBO : Finance-HR-Taxation
· Ability to perform the tasks in compliance with existing procedures, strong internal customer focus, excellent communication skills as well as the proactiveness;
· Sense of ownership of assigned tasks;
· Excellent organization, accuracy, team spirit, attention to details
· Knowledge of Afas Profit system very welcome (outsource by Optimo)
· Knowledge of pension and insurances payroll related.
Preferred Qualifications :
· Min. 5 years of experience in payroll
· Very good command of Dutch and English languages;
· Practical knowledge of payroll and tax and social security regulations for Netherlands;
· Diploma / Certificate Dutch employee payroll and taxation (PDL)
· Good knowledge and practice in using MS Office
· Similar experience internal or external to GSK of payroll and related matters including employee and expat taxation
· Experience of administration and archiving for a shared service center
· Proper and timely salary payments.
· Ability and experience with reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
· Accuracy and knowledge of taxes and social security in the Netherlands
· Ability to work with strict deadlines for payment of salaries and taxation
· Proven ability to work with payroll systems and SAP (ERP system). Knowledge of interface solutions
· Ability to communicate complex financial matters to employees and management within the organization
· Good Document management skills
· Knowledge on Archival /Retrieval of documents
· Good Communication / Co-ordination skills
