As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing value based portfolio propositions in order to gain and maintain patient access for our client within the respiratory portfolio. You will be responsible for supporting execution and differentiation of the portfolio and implementation of strengthening relationships within the first line (pharmacists, pharmacies, hospitals, target audience pulmonologists) within in your region.

You will be responsible for:

  • Informing (regional) formulary discussions based on value propositions of our client’s portfolio and provide conditions for optimal patient access to products,
  • Signaling new initiatives and trends in regional healthcare systems Segmentation and Targeting of Key Accounts,
  • Initiating and maintain sustainable partnerships with stakeholders like Care Groups, key HCP’s, Healthcare insurers and other influencers of (regional/ local) treatment formularies,
  • Coordinating all interactions with stake-holders at Care Group level,
  • Finding ways to approach different health care professionals and knows how to involve them in improving healthcare quality,
  • Regarding customer and external experts as preferred representative to collaborate based on their insight,
  • Contributing to joint, long term, strategic plans with customers. Actively drives customer/account opportunities aligned with portfolio strategies and customer needs,
  • Defining actions with long-term impact and proactively adjusts personal KPI’s based on stretched objectives and environmental customer changes,
  • Contributing internal and external networks to provide innovative business/healthcare solutions.

Do you have?

  • University degree or equivalent in experience (e.g. Business Management, Lifescience)
  • Knowledge Share & Communication and negotiation skills
  • Network of Pulmonologists
  • Project Management skills
  • Oversight of regional stakeholder landscape
  • Understanding of how healthcare networks and hospitals function
  • Account management experience
  • Fluent communication in English and Dutch
